Strategic Sales
Tobias has been with Goldschmidt for 12 years. In 2009, he started his training as an industrial clerk at Goldschmidt Holding in Leipzig. He then worked as an export sales administrator at our location Elektro-Thermit in Halle (Saale). Since 2015 he has been responsible for strategic sales for the areas of the Middle East and the Baltic states. He recently completed his part-time studies with a Bachelor of Engineering in the field of industrial engineering.
I particularly like the variety of work that the sales department offers. I enjoy identifying the customer’s needs and supplying exactly what is required. For me it is particularly satisfying to win a customer order after I have provided the customer with personal consultation and submitted a quotation.
I can contribute to a strong team. We work together as equal partners, across different levels and international borders. All our colleagues are appreciated and there is a good cooperative spirit. Praise and constructive criticism are met with openness.
I can develop myself here and my individual strengths and interests are promoted. As part of the “Goldschmidt Campus” I was accepted for a long-term internal development program, which gave me the opportunity to complete my Bachelor of Engineering while working.
In particular, I like the flexible working hours which allow me to balance work and family life well.
