For a simple and quick documentation of Thermit^® welds, Goldschmidt has developed the new Q-Weld App and uses it internally for quality control of its own welding services. With the new Q-Weld App, the documentation of an executed Thermit^® weld focusing on a few essential parameters is now possible with minimal effort. The upload to a Dari^® cloud database allows easy access to the recorded data as well as its evaluation and visualisation. Thus, the quality can be documented and evaluated. The recorded data is also used, for example, to determine the progress of welding jobs to be completed.
